Courthouse steps remodel to be bid this winter with projected completion June 30, 2026

Brandon Janshen reviewed the existing conditions and the proposed design for the new steps and landing. He provided a project schedule: final review of drawings and specifications on Jan. 14 at 11 a.m.; a video pre-bid conference on Jan. 29 at 11 a.m.; bid advertisements to run on Jan. 12, Jan. 26 and Feb. 2; bid opening on Feb. 4 at 11 a.m.; and an award decision slated for Feb. 11. The projected completion date for the project is June 30, 2026.
No formal award or contract was decided at the Jan. 7 meeting; the board recorded the timeline for procurement and directed staff to proceed with the advertised schedule.
