Lemon Grove board adopts visitor mask rule, approves financial reports and several personnel and program items

At its March 8 meeting the Lemon Grove School District Governing Board approved a visitor masking policy requiring visitors to wear masks unless they show proof of vaccination, effective March 12, 2022. The motion passed unanimously.
The board also approved the district’s 2021-22 Second Interim Positive Certification and accepted the Fund 25 Capital Facilities Fund report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021. Trustees approved memoranda of understanding covering a local holiday/Cesar Chavez Day, an early-retiree arrangement, and LETRS training for the 2021–22 school year, and adopted certificated and classified workday calendars for 2022–23.
The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) plan was approved along with Resolution No. 2021-22-12 (No-Idling at Schools). The board selected nine candidates unanimously for the 2022-23 CSBA Delegate Assembly ballot and approved changing the July regular board meeting to a joint meeting with the City of Lemon Grove.
The consent agenda, which included minutes, personnel action reports, purchase orders, contracts and gifts (including a gift from Family Health Centers of San Diego), was approved without dissent. The meeting recessed briefly at 8:03 p.m. and adjourned at 9:44 p.m.
