Jake Ryba, Territory Sales Manager for Murphy Tractor, presented the company’s 'Power by the Hour' program to the Fillmore County Board of Supervisors on March 10, 2026. Ryba described a purchase-and-trade schedule for motor graders intended to keep machines under manufacturer warranty by trading units before they reach 6,000 hours.
Ryba told the board the program could reduce long-term maintenance exposure by ensuring equipment remains covered under warranty. After discussion the board did not take immediate action; members asked to hear from another company at a future meeting before deciding whether to solicit quotes or proceed.
No procurement decisions were made at the March 10 meeting; the board deferred further consideration pending additional vendor presentations.
