Commissioners approve administrative items: appointment to IDA, reappointments, software renewal and inmate physician-services request

Bunch moved to appoint Thomas Peppernick to the Fulton County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors for a four-year term ending Dec. 31, 2027; the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to reappoint Margie McGuire (Contractor), Paula Shives (Member-at-Large), Thomas Morton (Elected Official) and Daniel Schriever (Member-at-Large) to the Fulton County Agricultural Land Preservation Board for two-year terms ending Dec. 31, 2027; that motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to retroactively approve a Momentive Software, Inc. renewal order form for the Fiscal Department at an annual price of $1,660.48; the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Bunch moved to approve and execute a request submitted by the Sheriff's Department for an inmate at the Bedford County Correctional Facility to receive physician services; that motion carried unanimously.
The board also approved the 2026 Commissioners' meeting dates to be advertised in the Fulton County Newspaper. The meeting minutes note that a DCED (Department of Community and Economic Development) Financial Monitoring Interview listed for 11:30 a.m. was canceled by DCED, which asked to meet instead with SEDA COG and the Chief Clerk.
