"My name is Daisy Foley," the adviser said at the start of the presentation, then described DECA as an international student-led organization that prepares leaders in marketing, finance and management. Foley credited chapter president Clayton Hoffman for developing the trip proposal and leading fundraising, and she thanked parents and community supporters.
Students reviewed learning labs, keynote sessions, exhibitor interactions and national landmarks visited during the trip. One student said, "I ended up getting a 100 on my competition role plan," and several students described how the experience strengthened public speaking and marketing skills. The presentation noted the chapter will take 13 students to a district competition at the University of Wisconsin–Stout on January 10 and encouraged local professionals to volunteer as event judges or mentors.
