Mackinac County commissioners approve routine bills and three budget amendments

The Mackinac County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on Aug. 8 to approve routine county payments and three budget amendments.
The board approved the regular bills in the amount of $967,445.88, manual bills totaling $84,352.33 and additional bills of $108,561.67. Each motion passed on a roll call vote of 4-0. Commissioners Corina Clark, Dan Litzner, Mike Patrick and Judy St. Louis-Scott voted yes; Commissioner Jodi Kaiser was absent.
The board also approved budget amendments #2024-36, #2024-37 and #2024-38 by identical 4-0 roll call votes. The meeting materials include the amendment documents; no amendment dollar amounts were read aloud during the meeting and the board minutes reference the attachments for details.
There was little debate on the financial items. Commissioners moved and seconded each motion in sequence and recorded roll call tallies for the official record.
The approvals close the board's formal business on county disbursements and budget adjustments for the period; the meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
