Camp Verde adopts 2024 International Codes and local technical amendments

The Camp Verde Town Council on Feb. 18 unanimously adopted Ordinance 2026-A512 to adopt updated editions of the International Code Council (ICC) model codes, including the 2024 International Building Code and associated appendices and related codes, along with the town’s technical amendments and fee-table updates.
Chief Building Official Roxanne Jasman told the council the edits since the Jan. 28 work session were largely clerical and reviewed the substantive updates the building-division staff recommended under the 2024 code updates. Councilor Robert Foreman moved to approve the ordinance and the motion passed on a roll-call vote of 7-0.
By adopting the updated codes and local technical amendments, Camp Verde aligns its building code framework with the latest ICC model provisions and updates its administrative code sections pertaining to building administration and fees. Staff will incorporate the adopted text into the Town Code and fee schedules.
