The Camp Verde Town Council approved a slate of prioritized FY27 projects to pursue Congressionally Directed Spending, unanimously adopting Resolution 2026-1207.
Town Manager Miranda Fisher presented the list of ten critical projects that the Town intends to propose for federal Congressionally Directed Spending, identifying project areas in water, wastewater, law enforcement and public works as priorities to support town growth and services. Councilor Jessie Murdock moved to approve the resolution; Councilor Robin Godwin seconded the motion. The Council approved the priorities by unanimous roll-call vote.
Staff advised that the prioritized list will guide grant-seeking and federal requests; Council did not record detailed project descriptions in the meeting minutes beyond the general categories and the count of ten critical projects. The action authorizes staff to pursue the listed priorities and related federal funding opportunities on behalf of the Town.
