The Camp Verde Town Council voted unanimously to approve a contract to upgrade the courtroom JAVS recording system to meet Arizona Judicial recordkeeping standards.
Court Administrator Veronica Pineda told the Council the existing JAVS system's warranty has expired and portions of its hardware and software are now outdated, prompting the recommendation to contract with Justice AV Solutions, Inc. The Council approved the contract not to exceed $67,000 on a motion by Vice Mayor Wendy Escoffier, seconded by Councilor Robin Godwin; roll-call vote was 7-0.
Councilors did not record amendments or dissent; staff will proceed with the contract award and implementation in coordination with the courts to ensure compliance with state recordkeeping standards.
