Fulton County approves Food Basket sub‑agreement, payables and routine consent items

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 10, 2026, approved a Sub‑Agreement between the County of Fulton and the Fulton County Food Basket, Inc. authorizing the county to administer the State Food Purchase Program. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve the Sub‑Agreement and the motion passed with all in favor.
Food Basket Director Sue Cubbage told commissioners that state funds for the program now come directly to the county rather than to the Food Basket, and that the county therefore must name an administrator through a Sub‑Agreement. Fiscal Administrator Sue Reed attended the review and the board approved the agreement.
The board also approved routine consent items: a motion by Commissioner Steven L. Wible to approve the Feb. 3, 2026 Commissioners' Minutes and the Jan. 27, 2026 Retirement Board Minutes; a motion by Commissioner Hervey P. Hann to approve account payables dated Feb. 3, 2026 in the amount of $91,872.06 with the minutes listing fund breakdowns (General Fund $75,212.91; Fund 227 $153.17; Fund 231 $492.80; Fund 235 $172.69; Fund 238 $2,546.01; Fund 256 $794.48; Fund 300 $12,500.00). The motions were recorded as carried unanimously.
Other approved items included a travel request for Services for Children Director Christine McQuade to attend the "Chief Justice Max Baer's Children's Roundtable Summit" April 22–24, 2026, a $640 Citgo quote for four tires for a Services for Children vehicle (approved on motion by Commissioner Hervey P. Hann), and approval of a Certification Statement for the fourth quarter of 2025 submitted by Services for Children Fiscal Technician Stephanie Mellott (motion by Commissioner Steven L. Wible). The meeting adjourned at 11:20 a.m.
