Fulton County reappoints planning commissioners, approves bank signatory changes and moves forward on building renovations

LISBURG, Fulton County — At their Dec. 9 meeting the Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved several administrative and personnel actions, including multiple reappointments and bank-signature changes tied to a transition in the Treasurer's Office.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve Planning Commission reappointment letters for Paula Shives, James Gress, Jeremy Fletcher and Tim Newman to four-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2029; the motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to reappoint Russell McLucas as a Conservation District Director for a four-year term to expire Dec. 31, 2029; that motion also passed unanimously.
Commissioners authorized execution of bank documents presented by Community State Bank to add and remove authorized check signers because of a Treasurer's Office transition. Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop presented proposed changes to Treasurer's Office operating procedures and the board authorized the procedural changes as presented.
Executive Development Director Julie Dovey, Executive Program Director Elen Ott and Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville discussed Phase II renovations for the upper level of a recently purchased building on Lincoln Way West. The minutes record the discussion but do not include a contract award or dollar amounts tied to the renovation work.
Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve the 2025 State Food Plan as submitted by Sue Cubbage; that motion passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 11:02 a.m.
