Fulton County commissioners approve payables, payroll, hiring and routine contracts

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on March 3 approved a slate of routine financial and administrative measures, including $335,634.88 in accounts payable and $132,711.81 in payroll, and completed a series of personnel and contract actions.

Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve Accounts Payables dated March 3, 2026, totaling $335,634.88; the board recorded the fund-level breakdown presented by staff and voted 'all in favor.' Commissioner Hann also moved to approve payroll dated March 6, 2026, in the amount of $132,711.81; that motion likewise passed unanimously.

The board approved several operational items: a Travel Request from Chief Probation Officer Dan Miller to attend the Annual CJAB Conference, April 20–22, 2026; a DBB printer lease for Magisterial District Judge Heming's office for a total contract price of $3,647.00; and a 'Plan Asset Invoice' from Conrad Siegel in the amount of $3,844.25 to be paid from plan assets. Commissioners also authorized a CDBG Delegation of Signing Authority allowing HR Administrator Mary Huston and Commissioners Wible and Bunch to execute invoices from SEDA COG.

On veterans' benefits, the commissioners approved a burial expense application for veteran Gary Allen Myers, who served in the Air Force during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. County staff presented an audit review to the board during the meeting; no formal vote resulted from that presentation.
