Mayor Joe Lee called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and roll call showed Mayor Joe Lee and Council Members Linda Crowe, Lynn Taylor, Nick Rutledge, and Ellis Key present; Matt Morris was absent. Council Member Lynn Taylor moved to approve the published agenda; the motion carried unanimously.
Thomas Hunt presented several police-department purchases. Council approved the purchase of two Nikon D3500 cameras from Best Buy for $1,400 (budgeted to item 513-2503); payment of $550 to St. Clair County for transportation of a deceased body (budgeted to 513-3000); ammunition from Gulf States Distributors for $1,105 (budgeted to 513-5003); and four THI evidence kits from Sirchie for $1,897.97 (budgeted to 513-5003). Each motion was made and seconded by council members and carried by unanimous vote of those present.
