Wentz explained available funding included unspent FY2021 motor vehicle license fee balance ($88,550.81), FY2022 Powell Bill funds ($110,150), and FY2022 motor vehicle license fees ($246,800), creating a $445,500.81 paving budget. Using the recommended contingency and award would leave approximately $70,096.88 for remaining paving needs after this project.
Council approved the budget ordinance amendment and awarded the bid to Midstate Construction. The award passed with five votes in favor (Hodge, Danner, Dixon, Stiver, Roy Johnson) and one vote against (Ed Sain).
