Brooke County Commission approves routine minutes, invoices, budget transfer and checks; tables ARPA draw and purchase agreement

At its March 3 meeting, the Brooke County Commission approved routine items including the Feb. 27 minutes and open invoices, agreed to an in-house Courthouse budget transfer of $16,700 and ordered checks covering multiple county funds.
Commissioners recorded unanimous approval for invoice and voucher payments across funds that included a $149,794.39 payment from the Ambulance Service fund and other smaller checks totaling tens of thousands across general, E-911, shelter levy, fire protection and valuation accounts.
The commission tabled ARPA Project #2 Draw #3 for $9,305.82. The commission also tabled a purchase agreement with the City of Wellsburg regarding 840 Charles Street until a long-term lease is established with the WVU Extension Office; minutes state WVU Extension has legal counsel preparing an agreement.
