Recorder Corey Twedt reminded the council the RAPZ Tax application deadline is March 6 and reviewed the city's recent history of RAPZ awards. Councilmembers discussed public input from a prior hearing and identified two projects to apply for this year: priority one — upgraded playground equipment at South Park; priority two — improvements at Glenridge Park to better accommodate multiple sports and increased usage.
Council asked Recorder Twedt to prepare and submit both grant applications. The Council did not decide project design or budgets at this meeting; those details will be developed as part of the application process.
