Fulton County approves appointment to IDA, board reappointments and several administrative items

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved a set of administrative actions during its Dec. 16 meeting, including appointments, a software renewal, an inmate medical-services request and the public advertisement of next year’s meeting schedule.
Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to appoint Thomas Peppernick to the Fulton County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors for a four-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2027; the motion passed unanimously. The board also approved reappointment letters for members of the Fulton County Agricultural Land Preservation Board: Margie McGuire (Contractor), Paula Shives (Member-at-Large), Thomas Morton (Elected Official) and Daniel Schriever (Member-at-Large), each for two-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2027.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to retroactively approve a Momentive Software, Inc. renewal order form for the Fiscal Department at an annual price of $1,660.48; commissioners voted in favor. Commissioner Bunch moved to approve and execute a Sheriff's Department request for an inmate at the Bedford County Correctional Facility for physician services; that motion also passed unanimously. Commissioners approved a motion to publish the 2026 Commissioners' meeting dates in the Fulton County Newspaper.
The minutes note that a DCED financial monitoring interview scheduled for 11:30 a.m. was canceled at DCED's request and that DCED asked to meet with SEDA-Cog and the Chief Clerk for the review. The meeting adjourned at 11:45 a.m.
