The Chair announced that Councilmember Siegel was present in the chamber and Mayor Pro Tem Fuentes was attending virtually; Councilmembers Velasquez and Harper Madison were not in attendance. The committee opened with a procedural confirmation that there were no public commenters.
Under Item 1, the committee moved to approve the Sept. 19, 2025, minutes. The Chair recorded a motion by Councilmember Siegel and a second by Mayor Pro Tem Fuentes. "That is unanimous," the Chair said, noting the vote reflected those present.
Under Item 2, the Chair read a proposed 2026 meeting schedule: Jan. 16; March 20; May 15; July 31; Sept. 18; and Nov. 20. A Committee member asked the Chair to correct "the typo on the first date" before the calendar is published, saying, "Just, Chair, there's a typo on the first date, so, just if that could be corrected before it's published."
The committee then voted to adopt the calendar. The Chair recorded a motion by Councilmember Siegel, a second by Mayor Pro Tem Fuentes, and announced a three-zero vote with Councilmembers Velasquez and Harper Madison absent.
With no future business, the Chair noted the brevity of the meeting, observing, "I think I might have maybe set a record for fastest meeting," and adjourned the committee at 10:06 a.m.
