The Sioux County Board of Equalization approved a building permit filed by Jess and Stacy Holmgren during a brief meeting in Harrison on Jan. 2, 2026.
Commissioner J.W. Geiser moved to approve the permit; Commissioner Hal Downer seconded. On a roll call vote, Geiser, Downer and Commissioner Josh Skavdahl voted yes and the motion carried.
The meeting convened at 1:00 P.M. at the Sioux County Courthouse with Commissioners Hal Downer, J.W. Geiser and Josh Skavdahl and County Clerk Michelle Zimmerman present. Reference was made to the Open Meetings Law and the agenda was approved before the permit discussion.
With no further business, the Board adjourned at 1:05 P.M. The minutes are signed by Chairman Joshua Skavdahl and Sioux County Clerk Michelle Zimmerman.
