Price City Council on March 11 approved Resolution 2026-5 authorizing a new agreement for collection and disposal of residential waste within the city.
City staff said multiple bids were submitted and that the selected vendor was the lowest responsive bidder; staff recommended approval based on cost and service considerations. "The bid that was selected was also the lowest cost and, should be quite beneficial for the city over the next year," staff told the council.
A motion to approve the resolution was made and seconded, and the council voted in favor. Staff said this action completes the procurement process and puts the new collection agreement into effect under the terms described in the contract packet.
