Commissioners approve two minor subdivisions in Fairview and along Highway 34
Summary
Franklin County approved the Sandy Slope Minor Subdivision (Bracken Christensen) and the David and Jamie Sharp Minor Partition; septics were approved, fees paid and access reviewed, and both motions passed unanimously.
Franklin County commissioners approved two separate minor land divisions during their Feb. 23 meeting.
Planning and Zoning staff Shauna Geddes and Randy Henrie and surveyors reviewed both proposals. The Sandy Slope Minor Subdivision (Bracken Christensen), located in the Fairview area off 1400 West, will create two lots fronting a county road; county staff confirmed septic approval, fees paid and access reviewed. Commissioners unanimously approved the subdivision (motion by Zach Stewart; second by Zan Bowles).
Separately, the David and Jamie Sharp Minor Partition, proposed between Riverdale and Treasureton along Highway 34, was presented with septic approval and fees paid; commissioners unanimously approved that partition as well (motion by Zach Stewart; second by Zan Bowles).
Both approvals were recorded as unanimous votes; planning staff and surveyors will proceed with recording and next steps for the newly created lots.
