Abilene ISD says intruder-detection audit found equipment failures that were fixed the same day

Waldron reviewed the district’s five-part daily safety routines — a "push and pull" door-check campaign, weekly door-sweep reports, campus safety-team reporting, staff ID-badge check-in procedures and regular training — and said those measures are part of ongoing corrective action. He stressed that some audit specifics are withheld to avoid compromising security.
