County Administrator Danny Jordan provided context on the history of federal funding for CIPs, saying the submission is intended to advance the county’s requests for federal project support. The board did not amend the draft and directed that the approved letter be submitted as planned.
The action was recorded as a formal motion and vote during the staff meeting; no additional conditions or amendments were attached to the approval. The matter will appear on the county’s regular meeting records and any subsequent distribution of the letter will follow standard staff procedures.
