Bremer County Board approves routine administrative items, sets Q3 mileage rate at $0.60

The Bremer County Board of Supervisors approved several administrative actions at its July 2 meeting in Waverly.
Chairman Corey Cerwinske called the session to order at 9:00 a.m. and Supervisor Hildebrandt moved, with Supervisor Kammeyer seconding, to approve the agenda. The board set the county mileage reimbursement rate for the third quarter of calendar year 2024 at $0.60 per mile (motion by Supervisor Kammeyer; second by Supervisor Hildebrandt). The board also approved the June 25, 2024 meeting minutes (motion by Supervisor Hildebrandt; second by Supervisor Kammeyer).
The board adopted RESOLUTION #24-48, a FY24 budget transfer authorizing $1,328 to move from the Solid Waste Fee Fund to the General Basic Fund, by motion of Supervisor Hildebrandt and second from Supervisor Kammeyer. The board authorized Chairman Cerwinske to sign a Propane Sales Agreement Contract between Farmers Win Coop and the Bremer County Convenience Center (motion by Supervisor Kammeyer; second by Supervisor Hildebrandt). The minutes note that, unless otherwise stated, actions were approved unanimously.
Chairman Corey Cerwinske also administered the oath of office to Braeden Goding as Deputy Auditor; Jennifer Bremner was recorded as present in the Auditor’s office. The meeting adjourned at 10:21 a.m. (motion by Supervisor Kammeyer; second by Supervisor Hildebrandt).
