County OKs new emergency alerts, Old Mill repairs and hazardous-waste events; approves dispatch lease

The board also authorized foundation repairs at the Old Mill Building in General Squier Memorial Park with Frank Rewold & Sons Inc. at $88,396 plus a $6,604 contingency (total not to exceed $95,000), funded from ARPA Fund 281 (Motion 50-2026). The board approved administrative flexibility to sign documents and approve out-of-scope work up to $100,000 to avoid project delays (Motion 51-2026).
Dispatch and hosting: The board approved renewal of the rack-space lease agreement with Bluewater Regional Networks for space at Central Dispatch for a five-year term starting at $550 per month (Motion 42-2026), ensuring continued hosting and connectivity for dispatch operations.
