Fulton County commissioners approved a proclamation declaring March 2026 Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month at their Feb. 24 meeting. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve and execute the proclamation; the motion was recorded as passing unanimously.
Local providers and advocates attended the signing, including Marissa Hockenberry (Occupational Services Inc.), Erica Ramsey (CRI), Rebecca Weaver (Franklin/Fulton IDD Program Specialist), staff and residents from Full Circle Residence, representatives from The Arc of Franklin/Fulton Counties, and Logan Crouse, identified in the minutes as a consumer of The Arc. The minutes note a group photograph was taken with the commissioners following the signing.
