Fulton County commissioners approve contracts, retirement invoices and administrative changes

At their Dec. 9 meeting, Fulton County commissioners approved several administrative and contract actions including county IT, pension and banking items.
The board approved a TelePlus Protection System Extended Service Agreement (Silver Maintenance Coverage Plan) for $14,040.56, effective Jan. 1–Dec. 31, 2026. Commissioners also approved two Conrad Siegel, Inc. invoices related to pension services: $5,700 for actuarial services (July–Dec. 2025) to be paid from the Charles Schwab Pension Account and $3,844.25 for investment advisory services (July 1–Sept. 30, 2025) to be paid from plan assets; motions for both invoices were approved unanimously.
Commissioners approved Elect IT contract Addenda A (IT staffing and support services), B (managed backup services) and C (IT/cyber security awareness and phishing simulations) as presented by Nelson Witmer, President/CEO of Elect IT Solutions. The board also held a discussion with Executive Development Director Julie Dovey, Executive Program Director Elen Ott and Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville about Phase II renovations for the upper level of a newly purchased building on Lincoln Way West; no construction contract or budget figures for the renovations were recorded in the minutes.
Commissioners approved execution of bank documents to add or remove authorized check signers as part of a transition in the Treasurer's Office, and authorized changes to Treasurer's Office operating procedures as presented by Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop. The meeting ended with a recorded motion to adjourn at 11:02 a.m.
