Commissioners agree to split material costs for Moon Lake Electric pole relocation; Miles abstains

Chairman Greg Miles disclosed that he is a member of the Moon Lake Board of Directors before the vote. Commissioner Tracy Killian made the motion to pay half the project's material costs and Commissioner Jeff Chugg seconded. Killian and Chugg voted aye; Miles abstained. The motion passed.
Commissioners also discussed additional right-of-way that may be needed for the relocation. The motion recorded no specific dollar figure at the time of the minutes; Casper and county staff indicated further coordination would be needed with Moon Lake Electric and property owners about right-of-way and potential repairs tied to the relocation work.
