Public Works and information-technology officials discussed the scope of installations across county facilities and the long-term maintenance implications. County leaders said the decision was driven by a desire for a single, county-wide system with vendor support for equipment upkeep.
The contract amount and Fund 41 designation were included in the motion passed on the record. The county did not provide a projected installation timeline in the meeting; staff will follow up with procurement and implementation schedules.
