Chair Charles Atkins asked County staff to contact state delegates and senators to encourage they halt the removal of VMI from the Virginia College System. Royal Oak District Supervisor Courtney Widener moved to authorize the County Administrator to draft the requested resolution; North Fork District Supervisor Rick Billings seconded. The Board approved the motion unanimously and directed the County Administrator to prepare the draft for subsequent review.
