The Austin Housing Finance Corporation approved a two-item consent agenda on Thursday, Nov. 6, including the approval of meeting minutes and the payoff of a mortgage on Villa Del Rey, a 32-unit property in District 9.
Vice President Vanessa Fuentes, filling in for President Kirk Watson, recessed the City Council and convened the AHFC meeting at 2:00 p.m. in Austin City Hall. Fuentes then turned the floor to staff to present the consent items.
Mandy DeMaio, representing the Austin Housing Finance Corporation, told the board the agenda included approval of the minutes from AHFC meetings on Aug. 13, Aug. 28, Sept. 11 and Sept. 25 and a mortgage payoff for a subsidiary-owned property. "It is 32 units and the payoff amount is approximately $2,400,000," DeMaio said, and she offered both items on consent.
Board member Harper Madison moved to approve the consent agenda, and board member Ellis seconded the motion. The clerk reported there were no public speakers on the consent items. "Seeing none, the consent agenda stands approved," Fuentes said; no objections were recorded and the items were adopted by voice vote.
The AHFC meeting concluded at 2:02 p.m. with Vice President Fuentes adjourning the session. No further votes, amendments or public comments on the consent items were recorded in the transcript.
