Cramerton commissioners unanimously approve RZ24-08 and consistency statement, defer Redhawk Phase 4 to March 18

Commissioner Dixie Abernathy moved to approve RZ24-08 (DMD Investors LLC); Commissioner K. Ramsey seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Abernathy then moved to approve the consistency statement for RZ24-08; Commissioner Scott Kincaid seconded and the Board again voted unanimously in favor.
On a separate item, Commissioner Scott Kincaid moved to defer RZ24-03 (Redhawk Phase 4 Conditional Rezoning) to the March 18, 2025 meeting. Mayor Pro Tempore Richard Atkinson seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. The deferral means the board will consider RZ24-03 at a future meeting rather than acting on it at the workshop.
