Fulton County commissioners approve $159,968.15 in bills and $126,747.73 payroll; authorize CCAP dues and insurance payments

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 20 approved account payables totaling $159,968.15 and payroll totaling $126,747.73, and took several administrative authorizations for county offices.
Commissioner Randy H. Bunch opened the meeting at 8:30 a.m. and moved to approve the Jan. 13, 2026 Commissioners' minutes and the Jan. 13 Salary Board minutes; both motions passed unanimously. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved approval of the account payables, which included $140,001.80 charged to the General Fund and smaller amounts across Liquid Fuels, the SFC Technology Grant, Law Library, 911, Hazmat, Domestic Relations, Capital Projects, Debt Service and pass-through funds; that motion carried.
On separate motions the board approved the payroll dated Jan. 23, 2026, in the amount of $126,747.73 and several Treasurer's Office items presented by Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop. The board approved a 2026 CCAP Eighth Class dues invoice for $10,323.00 and authorized a credit-card approval form for Prothonotary Stephanie Sherman. Commissioners approved the 2026–2027 CCAP PCorP renewal as presented by insurance agent Bobby Snyder and approved a CCAP PComp second installment payment of $5,575.00 toward a total contribution of $22,300.00.
All motions recorded in the meeting passed by voice vote with unanimous support. The board noted that separate minutes are on file for a brief Safety Committee meeting at 10:00 a.m. and a Department Head meeting at 10:30 a.m. The meeting adjourned at 1:36 p.m.
Actions recorded in the meeting included approval of minutes, consent to pay account payables and payroll, approval of CCAP dues and insurance renewals, and authorization of a prothonotary credit card form; executive sessions on personnel matters were also held.
