Fulton County commissioners approve Krivak Trust payment, hiring and routine spending

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on March 3 approved a series of routine financial and personnel actions and authorized a Krivak Trust payment of up to $35,000.
The board unanimously approved accounts payable totaling $335,634.88, including allocations for the general fund and several special funds, and authorized payroll totaling $132,711.81. Commissioners also approved a $3,647 lease for a printer for MDJ Heming's office and a $3,844.25 plan-asset invoice from Conrad Siegel, both motions carried unanimously.
Human Services Director Julie Dovey asked the board to approve a Krivak Trust application; Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve the request for up to $35,000, and the commissioners voted to grant it. The minutes note that applicant information is confidential under HIPAA.
In a personnel action, Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to hire Laurel Griest as Office Deputy I for the Prothonotary's Office, effective March 4, 2026; the motion carried and a brief Salary Board established her salary.
