Representative Dunkley described the change as important because some veterans who lack high disability ratings go without dental care.
Supporters from the Florida Dental Association waived in; no public opposition was recorded. With debate concluded, the committee recorded a favorable report on the PCS for HB 253 by roll call (16 ayes, 0 nays).
