At the Nov. 25 meeting, Fulton County commissioners convened a CDBG project kickoff via Zoom for the Warfordsburg Senior Center with SEDA‑COG Program Analyst Hanorah Lucas, Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville, and Connie Brode, executive director for Huntingdon/Bedford/Fulton Area on Aging.
The meeting record shows the project kickoff was informational and aimed at moving the CDBG‑funded senior center project into planning phases; no procurements or contract awards for the project were recorded at the Nov. 25 session.
Separately, the board approved several administrative and routine items: reappointment letters for Conservation District directors Gene Mellott and Mark Knepper; approval of an amended Title IV‑D Attorney Contract for Domestic Relations (introduced by Domestic Relations Director Tina Gress); and authorization of Marty Mettille as Fulton County’s advisor for America250PA events. Commissioners also approved ePayment dog license receipts totaling $2,363.50 and multiple vendor invoices, including William Penn Printing, Elect IT Solutions (IT staffing/support, December invoice), and a HART license/support invoice.
The board noted an advertised bid opening for 119 North Second Street, McConnellsburg, yielded no bids. Commissioners also authorized Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop to obtain a county credit card to assist with Treasurer's Office operations and approved a CCAP PCoRP final installment contribution. A Wellness Improvement Program grant application requesting $1,769.60 to reimburse drinking water costs and to purchase an AED was approved. The meeting adjourned at 11:45 a.m.
