Gateway board reports $2M in housing investment; Midtown Spine Road and bridge design progress

On Midtown, Hooley said the bridge project's design is about 90% complete and expected to be fully permitted by May 2026, and he discussed the Spine Road concept to move traffic off Pine Island and University avenues. "It's 90% design complete, currently under permit, full design permitted by May 2026," he said of the bridge project.
