The Carter County commissioners voted on Sept. 18 to accept a contract with the Boyse Community Club that reserves part of the club's easement and secures a quitclaim deed to allow construction and maintenance of a county road shop at the Boyse Road location. A commissioner moved to accept the contract, the motion was seconded and approved; the chair indicated he would sign the documents immediately and instructed staff to mail signed copies to the involved parties.
County staff later discussed clerical follow-up (updating deed dates and filing) and asked Melissa to mail the signed documents to the community club contact. No public comment was offered on the contract at the time of the vote.
