Committee member (S2) moved the motion, a colleague seconded and Chair (S1) called the voice vote; there was no public comment and the motion carried.
Commissioners also approved a signature‑certification form for a tourism grant the museum is using in its outreach. Committee member (S2) made the motion and it was seconded and passed on a voice vote.
On airport business, the board approved signing a request to the Federal Aviation Administration to amend a grant (AIP3‑30‑0025‑019‑2025) after winter construction revealed additional pavement cracking. Chair (S1) read the project accounting: “After applying the unused funds, the remaining amount exceeding the original grant total is $6,282. Carter County respectfully requests a grant amendment for the federal share of this amount at 95%, which totals $5,967.” The board voted to sign the letter; staff said the county has funds available to cover the required local match.
