The board approved minutes from the Dec. 18 and Dec. 31, 2025 meetings after a motion and second were recorded and carried by unanimous voice vote. Commissioners also voted to re-advertise the sidewalk construction solicitation for the hospital parking lot, directing publication three times in the Ekalaka Eagle and setting the bid opening for Feb. 4, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
On a personnel motion, the board voted to remove Brandy Johnson from her probationary status for work with the Clerk and Recorder and Extension offices; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. No public comment was recorded on that item.
