County staff presented a change order for the Montana ExpoPark roofing project at the Dec. 3 Cascade County work session that increased the contract by $31,724 and raised the total project cost to $2,427,246. Staff identified the contractor change order as AT-Klemens Change Order 3 and said the project is funded through ARPA monies.
Les Payne joined by Zoom to present background on the change order; Chairman Jim Larson asked questions and commissioners and staff discussed project details. The exchange in the work session focused on the additional cost and budget implications; the minutes record the presentation and discussion but do not show a formal vote or final action taken during the work session.
The minutes list the change order amount and the total project figure; county staff will carry the item forward as required by the county’s contracting and procurement procedures for formal approval if necessary.
