Justice Court staff on Nov. 19 presented an add-on proposal to acquire recording software and related components.
Eric Bailey, representing Justice Court, introduced Contract 25-170, a proposal to license 'For the Record' recording software and maintenance (initial software licenses $3,695; annual fee $2,150; interface $634.57). Finance staff (Trista Besich) then presented Resolution 25-84 to increase expenditures by $635 in Fund 1000, Dept. 211 to acquire additional recording software components tied to Contract 25-170.
Commissioners and staff discussed fee options and implementation details; Carey Ann Haight (Zoom participant) asked a clarifying question about fees. The work session minutes record the presentations and discussion but do not record a final vote or formal approval in the work session.
Further board action is required to appropriate funds and execute the software contract.
