Superintendent Dr. Cindy Wigley presented detailed rosters by school that included teacher names and parent representatives (examples: K-5 committees at Asbury Elementary, Brindlee Mountain Elementary and others; secondary rosters at Asbury High School, Brindlee Mountain High School and more). Mr. Terry Kennamer moved to approve the committee lists; Mrs. Laura Byars seconded and the board voted unanimously.
The minutes list names for each school’s committee; the record shows the board approved the full rosters with no recorded amendments or public comment. The approval enables the committees to proceed with textbook review and recommendation processes under district policy.
