Travis Smith of the Sheriff's Office described the county's 2022 Ford F-150 as "completely totaled" after it was struck by a DUI driver; staff and commissioners approved declaring the vehicle surplus and sending it to a salvage yard.
Chris Messis of Weed, Parks and Recreation asked the board to surplus assorted tools, pressure washers and 19 dock sections removed from Foyes Lake; commissioners approved selling or disposing of the items depending on their value.
All surplus items were approved by voice vote; staff were directed to proceed with auction listings and inter‑county transfers as discussed.
