During the Feb. 18 meeting Council members considered two site-permit items. An application from Butch Cassidy’s for a pole shed (pole barn) for equipment storage drew discussion. Council Member Stacie Gass initially moved to approve the permit; Council Member Kaylie Barney offered a substitute motion to postpone consideration until the March meeting so the Council could obtain additional information from the owner. Council Member Shirl Fox seconded the substitute motion, which passed unanimously, postponing the site permit.
On a separate application, David Lee requested a site permit for a new house at 515 North 100 East and a new water meter. Council Member Stacie Gass moved to approve both the site permit and the water meter; Council Member Kaylie Barney seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The minutes do not record any conditions attached to either the postponement or the approval, nor do they name an owner representative for Butch Cassidy’s in the public record. The Butch Cassidy’s permit will return to the Council agenda in March for further consideration.
