Commissioner Dixie Abernathy moved to set a budget workshop for Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 5 p.m.; Commissioner Jennifer Ramsey seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Ollis described the budget presentation and schedule for review and adoption; he stated that a public hearing is required and that the budget must be approved by July 1. The board did not change the overall adoption deadline during the meeting. Staff will present the budget at the scheduled hearing for public comment and return to the board for final action before the statutory adoption date.
