Nadia Powers, Crowley ISD's director of purchasing, presented the district's required annual rebates report and described several ongoing vendor rebate programs. Powers told the board BuyBoard produced the largest single rebate ($35,597) and that the district received $24,570.25 from JPMorgan Chase and a roughly $13,000 Amazon-related rebate in 2024–25. She also noted the district negotiated a $10,000 annual agreement with the Doctor Pepper beverage program at campus vending points and that several other rebate streams add to campus activity funds.
Powers said the district began participating in a Reed Wells Benson program in 2025 that targets energy-efficiency projects and predicted a "nice rebate total" for a future reporting year if qualifying projects proceed. "The year amount that we received is a little over $105,000 for the rebates that we received, for 2526," she told trustees. Board members asked how the rebates are generated and whether programs such as Box Tops remain active; Powers explained the mechanics of virtual card payments, p-card usage and merchant fees tied to the JPMorgan rebate and noted some legacy rebate programs have moved to electronic formats.
