The Somerville City Land Use Committee voted to recommend approval of three items related to the redevelopment of 90 Washington Street, and marked a fourth related item as "work completed." Chair Sher moved to approve agenda items described as 25-1594 through 25-1596 and to mark item 25-1605 as work complete; the clerk recorded a unanimous vote in favor.
The approvals cover an amended demonstration project plan and related amendments to the memorandum of agreement between the City and the Redevelopment Authority, including the development objectives and a summary from the Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development. After the roll call the clerk announced the items were recommended to be approved and will be taken up at the next council meeting.
Committee members asked no substantive questions at the time of the vote; the chair noted Mr. Demers was present to answer questions about the redevelopment if needed. The committee’s recommendation forwards the items to the full City Council, where further review and any final votes will occur.
