Town Clerk Miranda Doll read Ordinance 2026-2 by title at the Eatonville Town Council meeting on Feb. 23. The ordinance would repeal and reenact Eatonville Municipal Code Sections 18.04.185 and 18.04.187 to adopt language described in the ordinance as more conducive to airport ground-operations safety and land-use compatibility.
Councilmember Peter Paul moved to approve the ordinance’s first reading. The motion received no second and therefore did not advance at the meeting. No further debate or roll-call vote was recorded on the measure.
The council did not set a new date for further consideration during the Feb. 23 meeting. Because the motion failed for lack of a second, the ordinance did not proceed to a second reading or vote on adoption at that session.
