Their next meeting is tomorrow, which is the request for the urgency to get this person appointed so that they can attend that meeting." The item was introduced on the record as a walk-on (spoken on the record as ECAF number "20Six-six88" and motion number "20 Six-one30").
The chair assigned the item to the committee of the whole for consideration at the council's general legislative session tomorrow; members did not take a final vote on the appointment during the administrative session. The referral was moved without objection. The committee will be the next opportunity for council action on the nomination.
